Personal
I am a Texas native having been born and raised in the Central Texas area. I have been coming to the Alpine, Ft. Davis, Big Bend Region for 30+ years and finally decided to make it my home.

My maternal grandparents, Vada and Johnny Murph Kemp, came to Valentine in the 1920's. My grandfather was working with the CCC and was employed in the construction of US 90.

During that period of time, they lived in an adobe home with their small family of two sons, Houston and Harist. On one of their excursions through the Ft. Davis and Balmorrhea route, they stopped and had pictures taken of themselves sitting among some of the formations located near Wild Rose Pass.

Thus, ADOBE ROSE REALTY was born out of those ties of the heart which my family had with this beautiful land, and the warmth and welcome they received from the families of the Big Bend Region.
